I remember going through that thread earlier this year. In general it sounds pretty good but can't compare at all how it would sound on our cars with a different engine and software mappings.

Agreed.

Noticed that IND is showing off Eisenmann exhaust for X3M/X3MC. And one from Akrapovič on these cars as well. Hopefully more will start to pop up for the M40i's. Exciting time...

Frankly, i don't know what's taking these long for vendors to put out aftermarket (performance) parts for X3 (M40i) , seeing X3 is the "best selling" car that BMW has.

Even if the X3 is the top seller, it's still more likely that the enthusiast and those that mod their vehicles are going to be those that buy either the M340i or any M/MC variant of a vehicle thus most aftermarket stuff is targeted there.
