Please help. 328XI 2013 Left climate knob stopped working.

328XI 2013 Left climate knob stopped working most probably due to some liquid of dashboard cleaner went inside. Please help. Rest all functions are working even knob press function is working . Just not working as radio knob to increase or decrease temperature

Not many options other than removing & cleaning or replacing.

Maybe some compressed air?

Looking at that pic, I don't think it was a cleaner that went inside...
