carwow: 992 Turbo S vs. McLaren 720 S video

Well I figured the new Turbo would crush it off the line but I didnt think it would pull a 10.1 in the quarter (was guessing 10.3 or circa). The rollers are a different story but the Porsche didnt fare too bad IMHO in this segment:

Very representative of real world, no prep. That is the same reason I don't give in and trade to a GT2RS. I would love the bigger turbo's and potential, but I am not a roll racer. We launch on no prep. The GT2RS and 720S have killer roll power, but on no prep launches and factory tires, they can not run the number as your vid just showed. Either in AWD would be awesome. I'm keeping my tuned 991.2 TTS that runs 10.0 at 138-139 until the 992.2 arrives.

Their 991.2 Turbo S test. Carwow needs to run the 991.2 vs the 992 TTS for fun. 992 will win, but by how much.....

BREAKING NEWS a high horsepower 4 wheel drive car beat a high horsepower 2 wheel drive car to 100 mph lol. Throw some Toyo r888s on that 720 and it will wax that 911 in the quarter mile without breaking a sweat. If you really want to see a beatdown try racing that 720 in a roll race and see what happens lol. I think its hilarious people try to justify other cars against the 720 in terms of speed. News flash, there is not a faster stock car (minus a hypercar) that money can buy that a 720, end of story no questions asked. Sure there are certain situations like in this video where the 720 was at a disadvantage racing a four wheel drive car on an unprepped surface. A lot of four wheel drive cars would probably beat the 720 to 100mph in this situation lol! Let's see what happens after 100 mph. Also what tires are on the cars? Maybe they said it in the video and I missed it. 720s are notorious for needing better tires from the factory, the P-Zero's that come stock on the 720 are terrible. Also this thread is in the F90 M5 vs.... section, I see no m5 in this video

Actually, 140mph. Not 100. OEM stock vs OEM stock. P wins !

The 918 upgrade is coming to the 992. That will be a serious car.

Newest Koenigseggs are quicker, but yes, 918 is still one of the top beasts.
