Stock exhaust tips hanging low?

Hi all,

I own a 2018 M2 LCI and had the muffler replaced under warranty at the dealership the other day. Once I got home, I took a more in depth look at the rear of the car and something seemed off. I then realized that the exhaust tips seem to be hanging lower than they were before taking the car in for service. On top of that, the tips on the right seem to be hanging lower than the ones on the left.

Am I being too picky or do you guys also think something looks off?

Nah, you aren't being picky, take it back and make them do it right!

Have a look under there to see what they jacked up and have them fix it.

Just curious, why was the muffler replaced?

I would hear a short high-pitched sound very often while driving that seemed to be coming from the rear of the car. I brought the car to the dealership to have it checked out and the technician found out that the noise occurred when the exhaust flap opened and closed. The technician said they couldn't replace just the flap so they replaced the muffler altogether.

They do start to sag as they get older...

Just installed an exhaust last night.

Take a look at your brackets and rubber insulators in the last two pictures here.

Maybe they forgot to tighten the nuts on the brackets. That could account for the difference you see.
