Cargo Net for G30
Does anyone have or know of a cargo net for the trunk for a G30 (2019 M550i). I can't find any offering on BMW's US OEM site, and the few things I find look like generic nets or for other models so I'm not sure if it fits well.
if there is no BMW part, anyone have a suggestion on a US brand/model that works? I'm looking for a good way to keep some stuff like groceries from sliding all around the trunk when I take turns at 135mph on two wheels just kidding of course! |

Here’s an actual picture of the net in my car. Also confirmed it does have a BMW tag on it.

great, that looks like one of the nets I stumbled upon which is BMW part 51-47-0-010-557. doesn't say it's for 5ers but it's called "Genuine BMW Luggage Compartment Floor Net"
Searching that part numbers there's a bunch of places that sell it around the $50 US price. I'll give a bit more time for some other responses or thoughts and order later this week... will let others know how it works out (with pics too) Quick Update: eBay has from reputable sellers (feedback wise) for $16 - gonna go for it! |

If you do a simple search of the part nbr given in the posts above (51-4-7-001-557) in one of the part database sites...you'll see that it is the same boot/trunk floor net BMW uses in multiple models (1/2/3/4/5/6/7/X1/X3/X4/X6/Z4). Apparently there's no need to make specific nets for each model when one net with specific dimensions basically will work in multiple models.
You can see the list of BMW models that use the same cargo net at the following link: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/par...1-47-0-010-557

My ebay order arrived - fits perfect, looks just like the OEM minus the branding tab. good enough for a net and was $16.00 delivered quickly. Attached some pics. not sure if I am allowed to post links to ebay or items? but I found it simply by searching for bmw cargo net, and the part number.

I have the spare tire and no rings in mine. They might be there but blocked by the spare tire tray.
Also the rubber cargo liner doesn't fit either. I ended up cutting off the back ~1 inch of it so it would fit but I've lost the raised lip on that end as a result. |

Can you share the seller's name on Ebay so I know I get the right one? Or you can IM me the link if that works and once again good looking out! |

I used a bmw mat from my E60, and it fits perfectly with lips and all.

I have the spare tire option that covers the factory rings shown in these pictures. I bought ~8" black nylon cargo straps on Amazon, attached them to the hidden rings as extensions and hook the -557 net hooks to those. Works great.
