Insurance and OEM parts
I had a damage claim and part of that rear deffuser was replaced, i took it down recently and noticed this has not got BMW logo and looks like an OEM of some sort.
The insurance is Aviva and used their BMW approved garage. I want to raise a complaint cause my original one was purchased from BMW as i wanted to have genuine part and was expecting same in return from the repair. Do you think i have a chance here and maybe get a compensation?

Does this mean the one that was damaged wasn't the standard one from factory. If so, did you have it covered as a mod?
If it was covered as a mod, then unless the T&C's say otherwise I would be expecting them to replace with genuine. |
