Vertical black line shows in reverse camera view

Anyone seen this before? Started right after OTA upgrade to 11/2019.70 .

I have this exact line on my M850i with 3/2020.70 as well. Plan on taking it in next week to get it fixed.

Yup, I'm in the same scenario as you. I just noticed it today and was upgraded to 11/2019.70 OTA a few days ago. I did not have the issue prior to the upgrade.

Hopefully a dealer upgrade to latest software will fix. Gonna make a service appointment next week too...

I had the software updated last week to 07/2020.25 due to other problems in the car relating to a rear seat issue . The latest software has broken many items such as the sports display on HUD and the 3d Camera system has a line through it . Now the blank screen. Very annoying . What next

Saw this in another thread, so it's possible that there still isn't a fix yet for the line on the camera display ....

This happened to me when my local dealer updated the software to 07/2020.25. I reckon this is a confusing over left/right hand car.

Had it fixed by the dealer but noticed the images had reverted left to right. That is the bird eye view had moved from one side of the screen to the other along with the image view moving as well.

That said car image incorrect as now showing a 5 series and not a x5. Car going back into the dealer again this week to have this fixed.

My overhead is an 5-Series also... I contend there is a "config file" or settings somewhere that they miss during the upgrades. just a guess though... Taking mine in this week to get it fixed, as well as replacing a broken middle vent bottom fin that broke.

Spouse's virtually identical car below. Views have been switched, vertical line present, and cameras on overhead view misaligned. Spouse is not happy.

Took my M850i in to get the gray line and wrong vehicle looked at yesterday. They SA called me last night and said it is "programming" and they will work on it today. The service manager also promised he would get me "Android Auto" update (my SA said it wasn't available, spoke to the SM and he is assigning me to a different SA that is more "technology savvy".

Question for the wizards - does a factory data reset restore the original software after an update, or no?

* And the answer is - no, doesn't work. Parking cameras are still borked post-11/2019.70 update.

Dealer "programmed" mine and the gray/black line went away and the correct model of car (if not the exact color) shows in overhead view as well.
