Bimmerlife coil problem

Anyone else have a problem with the Bimmerlife coils/harness where it seems to randomly fry one of the coils? I've gone through 4 in the last couple months. What sux is unlike regular coils where you just delete codes and you're fine, these Audi coils are toast once they go. Tempted to just go back to regular if this keeps up.

What's the benefit of the bimmerlife coils? I've had new OEM ones from FCP for the last 10 months...not a single issue, and if they ever go bad they will replace it for free....for life.

Might be better off with some Delphi's or Eldors. I assume it's not the harness and that the actual coils have gone bad?

R8 coils need modified to fit and the R8 coil isn't especially sturdy. Better than OEM but not to PR level of reliable.

Prob need to modify coil, or check the harness. Harness has a lot of things that can go wrong too since there's electronic bits inside.

My Eldors are great. No misfires running RB two plus turbos at mid 20psi. I exchange them to FCP every other oil change for free. Plenty of people running them up to 700whp just fine.

Buy replacement part. Send in old part. Get refund on new purchase.

Goes for literally any part they sell including fluids, but no way am I doing that.

You could also read their warranty on their website to figure out how it works.
