Is anyone finding Waze to be buggy in CarPlay recently?
My experience with CarPlay has been pretty faultless since I got my car (MY20 with iD7), but recently I'm having trouble with Waze. I'm pretty much always running Waze in CarPlay while I'm driving. It comes up when I start the car (after a couple of seconds), usually without a hitch. But recently, Waze will sometimes load a screen without any road details, all the Waze controls are frozen, it doesn't know where my car is, and there's a red bubble behind the time on my iPhone.
When that happens, sometimes I just kill the app on my phone, restart it from the CarPlay menu, and all's fine. Other times I find the app isn't open on my phone and I just start it from the CarPlay menu and all's fine. It's all odd since Waze has been flawless for the last 11 months. Anyone else seeing this?

Yeah, it's been like that for me too even on iD6 for the last few updates. I found out an easy way to get the map back on. The map is usually restored if I navigate to a different app and back to it.

Yeah. It’s been a hot mess lately. Locking up my system once or twice as well.
