cars usually more expensive in Canada, and I was able to get a 2018 more or less loaded with 27k km for $50k Cdn. I would wait a little as the virus has made cars coming off leases late arriving to used car lots and some dealers are taking advantage of it. If you can wait than do so as more come off lease you will get better prices and volume of cars to pick from.

Yeah I could possibly wait, I am coming from a 2013 BMW 335i and this would be a huge upgrade in almost every aspect of the car, he just wont lower haha

Have you tried configuring it as new and see what kind of discount you are getting from new? It has few miles, should still be under warranty, and has lots of options. It actually looks like a pretty good deal to me.

New this would be close to 80K or more because it has legit everything except xDrive and maybe remote parking.

Similar car with xDrive and adaptive projector headlights was sold for 37k in VA, after 7 days of its listing, I was a day late otherwise I'd have gotten that already. This been on the lot for 83 days so that says a lot because it's over the price someone would pay

My car is the same except mine is not as loaded. My miles are even about the same. KBB show mine as worth 30-32 on trade a few weeks ago when I looked it up. Options don't add much. I think that car should be no more than $38.

Yeah I just don't understand why someone wouldn't sell a thing that's sitting on your lot for 3 months now knowing that everyone around you sold just fine when listed under a decent price range

If you're looking for a black on black honestly you should just buy it. It's really hard to find vehicles this loaded, the mileage is reasonable, and it comes with a CPO warranty. The dealer knows he will sell it and he may not be able to easily budge on price if this car is still owned by BMWFS rather than the dealership itself. You've got B&W stereo, a luxury seating package, and ceramic controls on this car. Plus it's got proper aluminum trim in an MSport, not old man wood.

I'm not a fan of black on black myself- but obviously you must be. You can't even get a B&W stereo in a brand new 2021.

Think you might regret passing on car this over a grand or two if this is the int/ext color scheme you want.

And add the fact it has DHP. This is a bit of a unicorn. I'd say it's fair considering its spec.

Just had my friend check and at the auction 2017 is going between 32.5K and 36.5K for dealer purchase. With the options this car has and the mileage it will go closer to 36.5 range. Keep in mind depending on what the dealer had to put into after their purchased it, they may not have much wiggle room. I think you offered a fair price but you have to decide if its worth losing over the 2K. See if you can make up the difference by negotiation not paying doc fee, depending on what they charge for their doc fee.

Is a great car packed with tones of extra. Honestly probably a rare find and you will be happy with it if you got it, IMO.

Yeah I was trying to find a similar spec nationwide and there isn't one, even if you pay more, or the miles this car come with and then warranty is a good thing on the side, that saves me my own $3k for the extended.

I am trying to talk to him again so let's see if I end up making a deal haha but appreciate the information

Yeah DHP and Bowers and Wilkins are quite a thing to find, I narrowly missed cheaper ones but oh well lol

That is really good information man, I asked him to send me tax title fees etc and see what that shows and I will ask him to waive those extras, hopefully he agrees cuz so far he been too straight up lol but this definitely one of a kind

If he does budge on the doc fees he will have to show it by reducing the price of car because legally they can not change the doc fee. For every sale the doc fee must show same for every car or the dealer could lose their license. For the buyer, its another way to reduce the price. Hope this helps.

Figuring cost drives sales price is one of the great fallacies in our country. The market drives prices, not cost. It doesn't matter what cost the dealership has in it, the market will determine its sales price.

But having said that, it doesn't mean that the sales department recognizes that and won't sit on it until someone comes along willing to pay the listed price.

But, as I said earlier, with all the options on it, I think it is a reasonable price.

Is it a little higher than probably what it should sell for yes but I would say no more than like 1-1.5k. Like other commenters above said it's pretty much fully loaded. And condition looks fairly new both inside and out. In the scheme of things your splitting hairs over a couple bucks a months if your financing. If you like the car that much don't squander over a few dollars cause you'll probably be more upset when it sells on day 85 and it's not in your driveway. Best of luck.

Yeah I found some for like 39k out of the state and I would have to cover the shipping and all that good jazz, would come close to that number so I am like eff it, it's cool

Haha no no, I told myself not to go over 35k, then 37, 39 and now I am full flexing for my own good lol so it's more like 10k after taxes cuz 35+tax vs 42+tax and CA tax is fun lol

yup, you are right, told myself that I wont have to worry about warranty at least for two years and can enjoy and have peace of mind that it's loaded as I wanted it to be so started the process, hoping for good outcome
