Lucky nobody at the pumps injured.

Looked like an aqua plane but could’ve also been too far right, put a wheel on the central reservation, panicked and corrected too abruptly. Praise for the following cars which diverted into the garage but I wouldn’t have stopped where they did in case someone else did the same thing.

Looks like he hits standing water early on then slides onto the central reservation. No doubt he was going far too fast for the conditions, the amazing change of orientation of the car as he enters the petrol station is pure skill

I noticed two cars that were clearly not intending to pull in, change their minds and pull across the hatched area to see the carnage. Concerned motorists wanting to help or the ultimate in rubber-necking?

'Glass half-full' man myself - were concerned and thought they could help. Why think bad of people - think positive and let it be proven otherwise. I'd like to think i'd pull in to help but I probably would have gone straight on because instinctively seeing a car 'fly' into a petrol garage I'd think 'fireball'. Just like the movies.

Given the way that a-hole was driving, maybe they were going to give statements when the law arrived. Good on them.

"Police are continuing to investigate"

Really? What is there to investigate?

Good point, hadn't thought of that.

The video did mention that the woman in a parked car was treated at the hospital.

Failing Physics 101 and Hydroplaning 102 classes is not very good excuse for placing others in danger.

What a plank..
(unless it was a genuine mechanical problem that caused it)
