Anyone Else Notice Revised Gearing For M550 LCI???

Looking through the specs on BMW's website, I noticed the revised first gear ratio for the new (LCI) M550.

Even with the new (revised) engine for MY 2020, BMW retained 2019's 1st gear ratio, which was a 5.0 (which was shared with the M5), and now, for the LCI, it's a 5.5, which is shared with the M850, X5 M50i, etc.

This should translate to consistently (and noticeably) faster acceleration times compared to the 2020, even with the identical engine.
