Recently found going out to the car that it was unlocked. Thought i May have forgotten to lock it. Then Earlier today was driving and after 10 mins, the driver door starting to unlock and lock and the door open warning popped up. Pulled up and the driver door was indeed not fully closed. If the door was open when setting out, then surely the car would not have moved. How did the door unlock and pop open whilst driving?

Any ideas?

Sounds like it could be a number of possible issues from a loose connector to a failing lock set. If under warranty i'd say head for the dealer or if not an independent BMW shop. --Bob
