ill start by saying BMW FTMFW!!!. i mean seriously the #1 guy lap time wise is the viper acr. well the "loaded" m3 csl still has the record in my book and it has been out way longer than the latest generation acr, z1r, etc just showing how amazing the s54 motor is along with chassis, etc.

i still up to this day say m3 csl = the most god like, perfectly engineered, proven, sports car EVER!!!

7:22:
(notice at the end the couple overtakes he had to do b/c of the slow cars, but still managed to get a hell of a time.

thread is open to modded and stock cars. yes you can see it as not fair modded vs stock, but what im looking at more is the fact that the m3 is a base i-6 3.2L motor with a s/c. the dodge viper acr is 8.4L v10 600hp w/ 560tq.

and technically if you look at it the acr is basically a tuned viper sold on the market so in my point of view a tuned m3 can be compared to a tuned viper with just the "acr" attatched to it to credit it street legal

+1. The ACR is equivelant to a CSL version of a regular Viper. I think a tuned 3.2 L compared to a 8.3 L is pretty fair. I mean, the Viper does use an engine almost triple the size.
