Hi all.

As the topic suggests, usually take this to Halfords for a oil service and they are currently pricing it as £92.

Kwikfit are doing the same work for £49.95...is there a catch?

Any other places people usually take their cars at all just for a basic oil and oil filter change?

12 year old Yaris so just keep it maintained regularly for minimal cost.

Thanks in advance,
Armaan

I wouldn't worry. Got my Mrs Citroen C1 (2017) in for its first MOT and oil change next week £74 at In 'n' out auto centre.

If anything I'm jealous how cheap her car is to run! No road tax, £20 a month on fuel and cheap services.

Kwik fit will probaly try to up sell brakes and other stuff (no different from BMW I suppose). When Mrs thescousellander used to drive round in old bangers I just bought an oil extractor and used that to do it myself the easy way.

I don't doubt that for a second, but it's just had a clean MOT and front brakes and discs replaced 12 months ago... guess the average joe might bite.
