Looks fine to my eye but not much of a differentiation to those not really paying attention. Definitely doesn't make ours feel dated.

I definitely prefer this front end
Even though I love my X3
I was never that keen on the lower corners
They didn't meet the rest of the body work

Looks more like the F25 with a joined up grill.

It has its merits. Agressive lower front end is nice, and imagine that lighting array will offer Laser Lights--which I wish I had in my 21.

That’s just a rendering based on somebody’s guess. I don’t believe it is very accurate. The graphic artist was lazy and didn’t bother to change the shape of the kidney shaped grills. It’s been pretty obvious over the years that BMW is moving away from a round shape to a more angular looking grill. Just look at the X5’s grill or the iX3’s grill to imagine what this grill should look like.

I kinda prefer the current design, don't like those side vents, but slimmer headlights are good.

I think this is going to be a pretty mild facelift as LCIs go. Joining the two halves of the grille is a given. Maybe the headlights will receive a bit of modification and the taillights will likely receive new graphics. And I bet it'll get the missing hardware to bring iD7 up to its full functionality.

That's what I thought. How is this worth an article?

Not an improvement enough, if they must, they can do better than that. I like our black exec's m-sport design, but colors seem to matter a lot more with this model. I actually do not mind the look of the X-Line for instance, if it's in white or silver as those front bumper dually-bobs seem to blend into the scheme. Can't believe it's been three years already.

Hopefully it won’t have a ridiculous looking grill like this.

Ha, ha, that is MY21 EU M4. Larger kidneys have larger fluid capacity, therefore they can support the high performance engine in it .

Back in the days, BMW kidney grills were large and longer vertically. This M4 looks kind of going back in time. I like it. It may take time for people to get use to it and like it. I hope BMW will offer this M4 in US soon.
