Micro Fiber Towels
How do you guys clean your micro fiber towels? Do you wash them in the washer? Thanks in advance.

Me too.
BTW, not sure if you know, but Costco sells them for a very very nice price.

I throw my dirty microfiber towels with a bit of liquid detergent and microfiber cleaner. Do NOT use powder detergent!
Use hot water, 2nd rinse, with high spin. Lastly I put them on the drier in the highest setting with no fabric softner. I personally don't like the microfiber towels from Costco. I only use premium MF and buy them from either Chemical Guys, Adam's Polish, or Detailers Domain. BTW, Detailers Domain is having a special on buy one MF towel and get one free. |

Thanks for the comments guys, I just wasn't sure of whether you were supposed to put them in the washer or not.

Oh... only wash microfiber towels together. Don't mix them up with your clothes or anything with cotton. The lint on the cotton will "contaminate" the microfiber.

The waffle weave types are the ones you want to use when drying your BMW after a wash. The regular MF towels are used when using quick detailing spray, removing polish and wax. There's even microfiber towels for the glass as well. Here's a comparison chart made by Cobra: |

But I don't like to waste them for no reason, quick wash with a small amount of detergent works great. Dry them on low seperate from other items, want to avoid lint.
