F1 - Extra PPE in Russia ?
No spoilers here in terms of the race result, in case folks haven't yet watched the race.
It seemed particularly noticeable that the drivers on the podium all kept their gloves on throughout the award ceremony - I don't remember them doing this at any other circuit. What was the concern ? Heightened risk of coronavirus with fans at the circuit ? Fear of poisoning from novichok to thwart the BLM movement ? (conspiracy theorists form an orderly queue). It was a warm day, so gloves weren't a 'temperature thing'. What say you ?

FIA Regulation 111222.4455.12.b section 12 Gloves to be worn on circuit at all times.
No one wanted a 5s+5s penalty for appearing bare handed at any point. Re the Novochok and BLM, blimey deep. |

A manual handling issue I'm hearing.....
Bottas needed to keep the gloves on for extra grip as his not used to handling the larger trophies on the podium.
