Engine firewall sound proofing wedge necessary?
Anyone drive around with the rubber sound proofing wedge removed or with the plastic engine cover off without any issues?
My rubber wedge is pretty chewed up and it's slowly deteriorating. The engine cover seems like air will escape the engine compartment and maybe help cooling a little. |

Same here - the install of my Prec Race Works Coils meant that the rear piece no longer fits, but the engine cover still fits perfectly
With the AWE exhaust I don't hear any louder injector/engine noise
