My 'new' 190E

Picked this up two weeks ago, it's an awesome companion to the 335i

I'm planning on autocrossing it next summer but first order of business is sorting out the suspension and some Blizzaks for the winter months.

Anyone else has/had one?

The 190e and the 300e were probably the finest mercedes benz ever produced! My uncle had a 1990 300e black with beige and it was a awesome car. From the build quality to the performance cant beat it! how does it perform?

It's really smooth. I like how it feels much nimbler compared to the bigger 300E. I did have a 400E a while back.

I will probably paint the lower plastic claddings black, unless I can find a nice set of AMG kit.

I paid $2900 for it, it does have a lot of new parts (brakes, shocks, exhaust, water pump) and the A/C works. But the selling point for me was the fact that it's black on black.

BTW - the camera did a lot to cover up the scratches heh

Good luck with the car and mods. Again, I love the 190E, they drive nice

i used to have cheap SUVs for winter and they were utterly boring and useless in summer.

it'd be interesting to run it at the T&T events although I'll stick with the 335i for the timed autoX's
