Rain Sensing Closing of Sunroof
I have identified the 3E52 code for the rain sensing close feature Regen_Schliessen; however, that only provides the option in iDrive. Does anyone know the additional code to activate the option. It is greyed out with this code only coded.
Thanks

Looks like the other option closes the sunroof all the way?

Thats the same for every G05 by default with that code. Considering its supposed to close i doubt that it's needed. Not that i've ever tested it.
Jut double checking- when you say 'other option' do you mean Regenposition, and not *_robust? Assuming the former then this could indeed fully close instead of being tilted, though don't suppose it matters from a rain perspective. the tilt position is probably ok for keeping the interior dry. Have you confirmed that setting the codes I posted removes the gray from the idrive checkobx and it can be activated now? Last edited by ifr; 10-09-2020 at 12:07 PM.. |

Has anybody tested this option to close the sunroof instead of the tilt position. I would much prefer this option as where I live it bucket's down big time and water does get in as I found out in my old F30. I had a 2012 Tiguan that I managed to code using Ross Tech's VCDS software to close the windows when it rained or it auto closed them after 24hrs. The car had to be locked and the wiper stalk in the auto position much like the X5 has now instead of a button like in the F series cars. I also think there will also be an option to close the windows as well like the VAG car's could do.

Yes that is a good question that was popping; what iDrive software version does it support or can be coded?
Thanks all!!
