2021 X5 drive recorder 3D view shows grey blur

Does anyone know why I get a digital image of the car and grey blur from the 3D view when I request from my connected drive app? I believe I saw this problem in another thread but not sure if it was still going on in the most current version of iDrive 7 with the update already installed when the car was delivered?

Are you on iOS 14, but not yet iOS 14.1? If so, iOS 14.1 resolves the issue. If not, need more/clearer details.

I was getting just the digital image of the car and the simulated environment of a grey surroundings. I do not have my mirrors folding as that would prevent any images from being accessible through the BMW connected app. My version of the connected app is 10.9.1990 if that helps. Currently updating to IOS 14.1 and will see if that works.

14.1 should work. Mirrors unfold automatically when the photo is triggered from the app, so that has nothing to do with it.
