I've never had this problem before. Today I was trying to navigate to the address of one of my contacts. By the time I navigate to contact and click on the address, it will disappear. Then I realize that the phone keeps disconnecting. Media seems to be able to connect no problem. Only phone call and contact seems suffer. Any idea?

I've tried to remove the device from the car and remove from phone as well. No luck

As a record for anyone else who experienced similar issue...
Hard reset of iDrive seem to have solved this issue...

How can I do the hard reset of idrive7?.. what will I loose when doing it ?

Push and hold the on/off volume button for about 30 seconds. The screen will go blank and idrive reset.

The only thing you should lose is then bug causing your problem. All settings should remain intact.

press the volume button for ? sec (Just keep pressing it until you hear some relay clicking)
