Non Run Flat ordering option
Planning on ordering new M340x drive soon.
Have seen a few threads somewhat relating to this subject, but I am still not quite clear on the answer. I really want the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S Non Run Flats, staggered setup. Also want the 792M style wheels. From what I can tell you can order the ZTK option which includes the cooling and high performance tire package. I really dont have a need for the cooling part of the package, as I have no plans to do any tracking. I also assume this package comes with the Michelins. As an option in the ordering guide it shows as a $600 option the following: 1PV 19" M Double-spoke cerium grey wheels, style 792M w/high perf. non run-flat (19x8.0, 225/40 R19 front and 19x8.5, 255/35 R19 rear) In combination with ZTK 1PV will add 300 to the order 1PV will add 840 to the order Alternate in package Note: 840 - Increased top speed limiter So you get a spare tire for another $150, and the high performance non run flat staggered setup. My question does this 1PV option get you the Michelins? |

If Michelins are not supplied on this 1PV package, I wonder what are? |

Looking over the MY21 order guide and using the online configurator...Seems like option 1PV gives you the 792M style, staggered width with high performance non-rft
This adds option 840 which is increased top speed limit and option 300 which is your spare tire ZTK shouldn't be mandatory to get this, but rather 1PV can be "upgraded" through ZTK meaning you would get the same wheel and tire package, upgraded cooling and brakes, and mobility kit ZTK will remove option 300 (spare tire) Keep option 840 Add MTechnology Add Mobility kit Conversely, 791M style wheel option with high performance non-rft seems to be only available with ZTK |

I was in the same boat as you all, but went for the ZTK because for the brakes, wheels, and tires it's a great deal.
I still have some concern about the oil cooler, but they do a lot of testing and I'm sure it'll be fine. I don't really do any off-roading. |

Wife will be driving this car I am ordering a good bit, and the extra oil coolers location has me a bit concerned. This car will never go off the main routes, but never know what she might drive over. ZTK is indeed a very good package, but I will be happy just to to get the 1PV with a spare tire. (as long as it Michelins ) |
