Where's the fuse for reverse light?

My reverse light is out, got and error on the dash, but when I check the bulb, it looks good, so I wanna check the fuse, but couldn't find it, which one is the fuse for reverse light? is there another fuse location other than the one behind the glove box?

Sometimes, only one of the Filamanets in the bulbs goes out, so it still lights up but will throw an error on your dash

Try a new bulb, quicker than hunting down a fuse that might not exist. Reverse lamps, and all exterior lamps for that matter are powered by the FRM control unit so most likely you will be looking for a fuse that powers this control unit.

usually in cars the reverse lights are hooked up to the transmission so there might be no fuse. you could have a short tho

Just tried a brand new bulb, but still doesn't light up, so might be what bsamoul said, a short , is there a way to fix it myself (if it is something that doesn't cost a lot of money) or I better bring it to the dealer?

You could try swapping the bulb carriers left to right, I believe they are wired the same. If the light comes on this eliminates the FRM control unit as well as the wiring from the control unit to the light bulb and you'll know you need a bulb carrier. If in fact the pins are different left to right or if the light still does not come on I would recommend taking it to the dealer for a wiring check as well as a check of the FRM module. If you have a wiring diagram you could concievably perform the wiring check yourself.

Did you do anything to your lights that could cause a short (or make the dealer come up with a story to not hold them liable to helping you) ?

Bulb carriers? you mean plug the left plug to the right light module? what's FRM?

Last time I did something was changing the bulb in the 3 rods to LED and that was like more than 2 months ago and shouldn't affect the backup light at all. I don't get it.

The part that the bulb slips into and the electrical connector plugs into, if you don't understand that you should take it to the dealer. The FRM is the Footwell Module. It is located on the left kick panel under the panel where the hood release handle is. This module controls exterior lights as well as several other vehicle functions and serves as the back up module for mileage storage. Hope that helps, in your case though I believe you have a defect within the bulb carrier.

Ok got it, I'll swap the left and right and see what happens, if I can't figure out, I'll have the dealer look at it on my next (which is also my first) schedule maintainance. Thanks to all who replied.

Do you have a multimeter?

Measure the contacts where the reverse bulb sits and see if it's getting power.
