F30 Battery issues.. Should I upgrade to a lightweight?
I have been running into battery problems lately. I do not drive the car much right now but only maybe a mile or 2 a day during the week. I have been getting a low battery message the past 2 weeks.
Even after buying a trickle charger about a week later the message re appeared. I am thinking if I HAVE to buy a battery, why not just upgrade to a lightweight one? Any suggestions to save my current battery? |

If by lightweight you mean Lithium Ion you'd need to code to use it, they're not drop in replacements. They also cost around a grand. As for the battery tender, if you only drive a mile or two a day using the tender once a week isn't enough.
