Short Ram Intake

Does anyone make one yet? Yes, I am serious and want the stupid whoooooosh. IAT are usually only a few degrees higher when driving normally regardless of being next to the engine and are practically the same at WOT. Resting they hike up, but that's my excuse to warm up the engine faster.

Also, has anyone just removed the top of the intake to see what it sounds like with it off? I know it'd be bad as it can collect water like a bowl - which I why I wonder about short ram intake and ideally small heat shield.

So I took off the top of the airbox and revved it a few times. I couldn't hear the turbos really anymore. I didn't drive around to see if it would go wooshhh though. Maybe next time

No one makes one presumably for packaging reasons - there's no where to put it, which is why the stock air box is designed the way it is.

I expect the aftermarket support to ramp up as the G80/82s come out though, so maybe someone will figure it out.
