I think that looks awesome with the matt paint and blacked out with the big tires... but who in their right mind would take this 100+K car offroad? Im leary of gravel roads.

It's different to see a Bimmer look like this so I kinda like it but at the same time the X7 is so expensive I doubt I would purchase it to do this type of modification but to each is own I rather stick to the super luxurious sporty look.

Also I would hate to have a Jeep Wrangler type of look but not The functionality of a Jeep.

Well that's certainly different...

I honestly felt like I had achieved a part of that look after putting ours on 21" winter wheel and tires

Fake rivets are pretty corny. Lack of a true locking rear differential limits real off road capabilities. Would love to see a video proving me wrong though.

Not feeling the wrap job, especially the fake rivets. But I like the wheel, tire and suspension setup as one hell of a winter setup. Although, with the lift, wheels & tires I think it would look better with the OEM side steps...

I would be curious to know how they did the lift. Was it a simple leveling kit (which is essentially installing spacers) or was more complex suspension surgery involved.

Different for the sake of being different.

Also, I thought we had put this matte paint trend behind us?

Remember the old Irish Spring soap commercial: " Manly, yes but I like it too."

Well, it does not apply.

I'm sorry, did you say "Dirt Edition"?

I feel like Bane from Batman drives this.

Not for me... like wearing a tux with running shoes. Just falls apart appearance wise.

I beg to differ. There are a number of sneakers that go well with a tux (IE Jordan 11 concord). Someone above said it best on this X7 ... being different for the sake of being different.
