335d Out, M4 Comp In

Chopped the 335 for this today.

Torrential rain stopped play driving home but impressed so far.

Nice one. I chopped in my 330d for an M4 Comp of which I picked up last Saturday. Been raining ever since!

How are you coping with the loss of performance?

Seriously nice car though

Congratulations. Exactly the same move I did (and several other forum members for that matter).
You won't look back. It's funny, but even after 3 years, I still absolutely love mine. It still feels special on a daily basis.
Beware! Mods & carbon fibre are addictive!

Dazzer & ukbeemerboy , I'd recommend joining Cutters, it's very active. The UK M3/4 section on here is a bit, steady, shall we say.
There's also a brand new forum just been launched, which has the ingredients to grow well imo. Certainly worth checking out.

Very nice, you'll be adding carbon, MPE, coilovers and 763Ms but any thoughts to which you will do first? Don't be too quick to experiment with MDM in these conditions if it still has MPSS tyres on it - they are great in the summer but can be quite snappy in the cold/damp... enjoy...

Yeah, MPSS fitted and it was twitching on much less than 100% throttle up shifts coming back. Definitely won’t be playing with MDM till the weather improves somewhat!! 😄

Very nice!

Competent as the 335d is it would never put a smile on your face like the M4 will.

I did a similar move back in Sept.... 435d to M4c.

Is that mineral grey?

Cabin feels different enough - but (similar to your car) i’ve now got full leather which makes a huge difference to the interior.

I do miss lumbar support, the digital cockpit and xdrive though!!

Yes, it’s Mineral grey with Full Merino so includes the dash, door cards etc.
Feels like a nice step up in quality over the normal dash.

The Porsche has the same full leather and I wanted the same in the BM

Lovely, what are the running costs like compared to a 335d?

Well done, looks awesome in mineral grey 👍

Would love an M4, a few doors short of what I was looking for though.
