Vanity Mirror Light Replacement
2015 - 428i GC
Part#: 9216245 My driver's side vanity/sun visor mirror light went out and I'm looking for a replacement. The only ones I can find are used. 1. Is there anywhere I can buy a new one? (other than the dealer) 2. Any guidance on how it is removed? I'm struggling to find any instruction on how its removed. I assume it just slides out somehow but, I'm trying not to break anything. Thanks for the help!

Lift off make-up mirror light (1) from roofliner in direction of arrow.
Disconnect plug connection underneath and remove make-up mirror light (1). Note: Mirror light (1) in LED technology, LED cannot be replaced. Use realoem.com to find the part # for a replacement. Google the part # & you'll find vendors offering them. Good luck!

If you're looking for a replacement with a brighter and whiter LED bulb, benzinfabrik.com sells them. It's a German site and they also sell replacement ambient lighting LED's of various colors amongst other LED's.
