RTTI
Anyone having trouble with the RTTI service? Mine randomly stopped working 5 days ago..all the Navi and privacy settings are set correctly. The Navi Map is showing no traffic colours and the RTTI control just says No RTTI information available .All the other Connected Drive services are working fine.
I've contacted Connected Drive Help call centre, who have been no help whatsoever so far.... initially told me my subscription had expired, which it had not. After I sorted that out with them, they took my contact details, said they would investigate, and they would call me back...no call after 2 days. Most frustrating at this time of year. |

Just confirming in the app it has some expiry date in the future? Have you tried resetting the idrive system? (Hold the power button / volume knob down for 30 seconds).

Is this RTTI not working when you just open the nav map on the display or when asking it to take you to a destination?

Following, as mine has also randomly stopped working! About 3 or 4 days ago too. All other online functions are working fine, including navigation. It's just the colours with traffic info that has disappeared.
Have tried a few resets with no luck unfortunately. I've got the car on charge overnight tonight but I seriously doubt that's got anything to do with it. Will be calling tomorrow but don't have high expectations. |

I have noticed the same issue here in Melbourne my 330i. RTTI disappeared. Reset iDrive, ensured privacy setting are correct and that my connected drive account is set up correctly. Anyone got any idea what the issue is?

The dealer however has been helpful and organised booking + loan car asap but sounds like it's a reset and another reset and something else that needs 3days!! |

I just dropped my BMW to get the connected drive stuff sorted I was having issues with drop outs with Android Auto, no RTTI and few other things.
The customer service person told me that the RTTI outage is a known issue but has to be sorted out in Germany. No ETA on it coming back online. Not much of an answer but hope that gives some assurance that they are aware of it. |

Mine is also not working.
We should all complain to BMW about the frequently disrupted online services. We have essentially paid for the 3 yr subscription when purchasing the car. I will be even more pissed if I was to continue to subscribe to these inferior products at exorbitant prices after the initial included period. |

FWIW right back at the start of the release of this car, connected drive didn't work for months and I got all my subscriptions extended. Took a while but they eventually relented. Keep it in mind.
