What has BMW done with the 6cyl?
I been looking to upgrade and all that is out there in my price range are turbo 4s. Yuck |

Considering the 'pissy' 4 cylinder turbos have 30 more kW and 100nm more torque than your 325i, I'd try driving one before instantly writing them off as no good.
I find my 320d excellent on the daily grind, and I rarely get caught out by turbo lag where I really notice it as a problem. The extra 130nm of torque, with half the fuel use sealed the deal for me over a 325i. If I am pining for the classic BMW 6 cylinder engine note, I just drive my weekender e30 |
