I had a similar accident last year with exact same parts damaged, except for the radiator. And the total came out to be 6K. BTW are you sure the adaptive xenon headlight is 800? I paid 1200 for mine.

The claims adjustor is supposed to go take pictures before the shop starts working on them. It's not your responsibility to take pictures.

I still don't understand (specifically) why your insurance is denying your claim? Are they claiming fraud or something?

Question of street racing or going in excessive speed? That can result in denial of coverage.

Is this pre-inspection the insurance company taking pics of your car after the accident but before you get it repaired?

typically the preinspection in my experience is when you buy a used car and the insurance company requires pictures of the car's current condition.
The car's I have bought through dealerships always seem to be ok without it, but my private party sales have required it. |

So basically you had your car fix before the insurance came out and looked at it to determine what the estimated damage was?
Your shop should have never touched your car with out an estimated claim. Now the insurance company has no way of knowing what was replaced.
