DMTL Error Fix for USA flash on Australia/Euro N54
This took me around 2-3 hours to figure out how to do it with different answers out there to find and piece together. Hope it makes your day.
This is for dme I8AOS not sure about others. This error comes up when using the free jb4 back end flash for single turbos. The error comes up every few start ups and cant just be deleted by ib4 or mhd ect. To remove the error you need tuner pro. Its a Free download, plenty of diy to learn from on youtube. Once you have tuner pro you open the USA JB4 back end flash with the correct .xdf. I8AOS IJEOS ect Go down to diagnostics, right click on the dmtl, edit xdf, change the number 56 to 00, save it then save bin. No more DMTL code. This is only for Australia and Euro models with USA flash. Video showing how to do it. Last edited by Brule; 01-31-2021 at 05:10 AM.. Reason: Spelling |

I looked up every thread I could find and put the dots together. Instructions were all missing bits in every thread.
This is literally it in 1 minute. |

For Ikmos These instructions are from @RSL Open XDF, select (don't open) the last table in the table list, click XDF in menu bar, create new XDF parameter, table. Title: DMTL config Address: 0x4c7d9 Cell data size: 8 bit Decimal places: 0 Change that from 1 to 0

I changed the original post to say for I8AOS only.
All the codes are now under A DTC Master table so you can toggle anything on and off easy without making a new heading and table from the hex address. ( non computer language above) I did figure out what you have written above but it was like a foreign language I pieced together. Adding fuel and boost is easy, turning that light off was 9/10 for difficulty. |
