Retrofit Comfort Access kit

Hello. I have a 2012 F30 328i that I am going to add comfort access too. I have seen the Bimmertech kit for around $1k $AUS. But I have also found the Easyguard unit from aliexpress. Is this basically the same kit like the carplay MMI kit is basically an Andream? Its 1/3rd of the price (i will need to paint the handles)
