Porsche Replacement

So tomorrow im taking my E92 into service and my dad will be coming with me to test drive a couple cars since he totaled his porsche. He wants to test drive the E92 335i and the audi S5.....any other suggestions on what else is in range?

The 09 S5 is quite nice. They added a few things such as Drive Select which make the car enjoyable. Does he want a four place Coupé?

Oooooo S5>335i, sorry bimmer loyalists but I'll take that v8 over FI. The car looks really nice too. However, if you can live with a modestly equipped M3 like mine you're in the S5 range already. M3>>S5

he really likes how my E92 drives so thats y he thought of the 335 but i think it will be to small for him

hes more into the german makes, we had a bad experience with nissans so hes looking for somethin like a benz bmw audi

You can't really go wrong w/ an S5 or an M3, although the weight and MPG will leave more to be desired. Personally I would go for the S5 just because BMWs are all over SoCal like a plague.

Or if your dad doesn't want the "me too" German car - Lotus Evora or Noble M400... just save up a little more money

Have him check out the 650i. Fast, comfortable, 4-seater, coupe. Nt as nimble as the Cayman was, but quite nice when you're pressing on.

M3 over the 650i....IMHO it's just too big and flashy....I mean seriously, why not tell him to get a slightly used E60 M5?

they're in the m3 price range, i.e. your dad's range!

I know you wanted a 2 door 4 seater, but how can you pass up an M5??

well after test driving the 550, 335, X6, 650, mb S550 and the lexus ls460...he has chosen the LS460 so now were shopping around for the right combo
