Lower center of gravity, better aesthetic, better handling. I've been searching for the most modest drop, Dinan was too much of a drop and ACS are not findable.
Also I've got the f80 control arms + dinan sways so this kind of completes the suspension chassis

Did I do something wrong?

I'm not sure why you would order F80 springs and then ask people if they will fit. ACS springs are mostly found in Europe but there is not reason to look for them since you are in the US. Eibach makes most of the ACS springs and Eibachs are readily available in the US.

You said that Dinan springs drop too much. They drop about an inch all around. But the key reason not to buy Dinan springs is because they are very stiff- 25% stiffer in front and 34% stiffer in the rear. So unless you are trying to rattle your teeth then I wouldn't get Dinan springs.

H&R make several spring sets for your car that aren't as stiff but are over an inch of drop. See photo.

Based on your comments, Eibach springs would appear to be your ideal solution. They are only about 10% stiffer than stock so a little more control without adding harshness. And the drop is what you are looking for, 1.0" in front and 0.6" in back. See photo for part number.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for this bro I cancelled the f80 springs I think it'll sit too low.

I'll look into the eibachs, would you know if you need a new set of bump stops for these?

Also yes I've had dinans on my non sport f30 and it was horrendous
Felt like I was driving a slammed Mitsubishi

The front spring is from F80 MT, and the rear spring is from F80 non-sunroof. They'll physically fit, and will be lower than F80 DCT front and F80 sunroof rear springs.

If buying F80 springs, I'd just get some from the F8x forums. They're usually really cheap ($150-$250 shipped).

thank you farkle, if im going for the most modest drop in height which ones would you specifically recommend?

Also one more question if getting AC Schnitzers or eibachs Do you recommend pairing them with f80 bump stops?

Agreed. This is what I did. Bought a used set from f80 fs forum. Paired them with new f80 bump stops and used the factory adaptive dampers. Ride was slightly firmer and handling was slightly improved. It didn't drop the car much at all from rwd m sport height so I went with a different set up after awhile. If you are looking for a mostly stock like ride with barely any drop this is a good way to go. For a bit more drop look to the different Eibach kits. The awd part number " 5" kit drops a little more than m3 height and then the rwd "2" kit a bit more from that.

Can you give me the exact f80 springs with the most modest drop for my car?
If you have a part number can you link it down below.

The springs I have above are I think way too low for my car.

Sorry man, I don't know the part numbers for the f80 springs. I bought them used from a MT car seeing my 340 is a manual.

Check out the thread Farkle has on using f80 springs on f30 cars. Lots of good info in there.

Would you recommend the MPS springs? From the m performance suspension instead? It drops the car 10 mm

I think you should spend some time reading these two threads. Farkle has really good info on here and will guide your decision.

A Look at the Various F3x BMW Suspensions https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1635814

A Look at F8x Springs for F3x Vehicles https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1634710

I had the full MPS shock and spring kit on my f30 335 (non adaptive) and it was a good set up. I am pretty sure those springs are stiffer than the eibach and f80 springs though.

Lower center of gravity, better aesthetic, better handling. I've been searching for the most modest drop, Dinan was too much of a drop and ACS are not findable.
Also I've got the f80 control arms + dinan sways so this kind of completes the suspension chassis

Did I do something wrong?

Hey, I've got the 340i thp lowered on dinan springs. Im debating the f80 control arm + strut upgrade, and was curious if you ran into any rubbing with the caster?
