M3 Alignment

I just wanted to add another useful thread to the Service/Maintenance section. I always did my alignments at independent alignment shops but the prices have gone up lately. Almost makes me consider having the dealer do them. Post up where you have yours done, if you're able to get a complimentary one as part of the covered maintenance, your preferred specs, etc.

Good post. Also, does anyone have the stock alignment specs?

I had my '01 e46 for 7 years and 100k miles and never needed an alignment.

Are ///M's notorious for needing frequent alignments?

I can see not needing an alignment if you haven't touched the suspension bits, steering linkage, tie rods, changed wheel size, or hit any potholes. I recently added H&R springs so I know I'm due for one.
