Maserati question
I was browsing around eBay motors and was finding Maserati's for really cheap prices : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars-...3A1|240%3A1308
Why do these sell for so little? Thanks Last edited by vgame64; 10-26-2008 at 01:23 PM.. Reason: This was originally a post I asked to be deleted, but my curiosity has returned. |

Sorry...the post I originally made was for a 2004ish Maserati coupe with 20kish miles for around $39k.
I then quickly realized that many Maserati's with the mileage go for similar prices. Why so cheap? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars-...3A1|240%3A1308 |

Not sure why so cheap. Maybe because in the US, Maserati is just now making a name for themselves - but to the general public it's still an unknown.
If you're considering one, keep in mind that it's still an Italian sports car and make sure you have the funding to take care of one of those. When test-driving a Quattroporte, I was quoted an oil-change price of $400. The one you linked to doesn't come with any warranty. Maybe that's part of why it's so cheap.
