Dad's new car

So dad is getting rid of his Z06 and he is really indecisive on the next car he wants. I want to know your guys opinions . What are his best options under like 100k , oh and he wont get a GTR

P.s Can be new or slightly used.

What's wrong w/ the Z06?

The GTR is the only car that will offer the same performance for under 100K. The only other car I can think of is a used 996 or 997 GT3, although it may be too spartan for him

Spartan lol yea agreed. The reason hes getting rid of the car is becasue he has a buyer and hes afraid the longer he keeps it the value is going to go down and hes going to lose his ass so you know how that goes.

Tell him to go drive an M5, I think he will then make up his mind.

You can buy them fairly cheap now, I've seem them range from $60-$80k.

He's got the muscle car genes still in him so its hard to convince him on something like a m5 or m6 etc. He really wants something thats sporty and pretty much all about performance but as he knows theres no other car in his price range that will even come close to the zo6. He's thinking about a gt500 and changing supercharger etc . Making it like 800 hp but i don't know . Seems like Z06 to a gt500 is almost going backwards. Anyone agree?

I agree that he would be going backwards. The only thing that could be comparable to the z06 in performance is the viper or i would get the 911 gt3 just a little over his budget but probably fun as hell to drive. What year was his z06?

Its an 08 black on black , black wheels, performance work done by Breathless Performance. Car is stupid fast, but he cant hold onto anything for too long lol

right now if my budget was 100k i would get a used 997 gt3...you can find one for 95ish-110k now.
