Headlight washer cover not sitting flush

Hey all put up a question on here about the headlight washer covers on my e92. Drivers cover sits back flush against the bumper but passengers is still sitting out 2 or 3mm. Have replaced washer jets and also the springs and clip on bits aswell. Any other ideas seems really weird only thing I am thinking is maybe the bumper is sitting off 2 or 3mm after re fitting. Any help would be great

Clean out the pipes, there are filters where they attach to the pumps and resovior, they can stop the fluid getting back to the tank which holds the washer jets open.

They are fully retracting just not sitting 100% when they are back in

Are the washer assemblies sitting correctly in place? Other than than maybe one is out of spec. Are they OEM or cheaper replacements?

They are after market but the oem 1 did the same am thinking it's the bumper that needs a slight tweek.

I've got the same issue. Think its bumper fitting related as only started after I had the bumper off. Weord as it goes back fine with a little nudge.
