Exclamation PROcede Rev.II: Final Pricing, Availability and Pic

Well, here it is:

With the exception of the billet end cap which we will anodize either red, black or blue, this is a production PROcede Rev.II (Race version). That little tail coming out of the back end plate is the antennae for the radio controlled mapswitcher. Should also have the first batch of PnP harnesses done soon. Well in time for the Dec. 23rd ship date projection.

Also by then, we should also have v3.2 firmware/software ready which will add the following to v3.1:

1) Adjustable software-based o2 sim (Race version only)
2) Adjustable throttle/boost response rate (Race version only)

We're only going to have 100 units available in the first batch. Second batch should be bigger and will be ready to ship in late Jan/early Feb. For the first batch only, intro price will be:

$945 for the PnP Race Version
$745 for the PnP Lite Version

After that, we're going to have to raise the prices by $50-100.

For functionality differences between the Race and Lite version, see here.

We'll be putting up an online order link for the next few days for those who want to get in on the first batch at the special intro price. No deposit will be taken. Kit will be charged once it is ready to ship

No wire-in kits available for sale just yet. Just PnPs for now, due to popular demand.

Cheers!
Shiv

Shiv,

Will you be offering an upgrade to current V3 users?

Yes. Just physically smaller, no longer water-proof but with all the harness electronics now integrated on the PCB board. No need for current v3 owners to upgrade unless they plan on building an amphibious vehicle.

Wow...that is unbelievably clean looking. I'm glad I held off on the V3.

BTW...one thing that I have never thought about when considering a piggyback is it's water repelling cababilities.

Nice work!!

Very nice improvement. Your products are like IPODs, smaller and better, with every revision. Does it comes in different colors, I wonder? I very am happy with the current v3.1.. great work team Vishnu.

Why? It would still cost you an additional $570 for this newly designed, smaller, v3 upgrade ($945 - current $375 v2-v3 upgrade)...so, what's the bargain? This is on top of the $1,600 v1-v2 upgrade ($1,450 v1.47 + $150 v2 upgrade); so your total cost of PROcede v1-v3 = $2,170 and mine would be $2,545. Sorry, but I think I'll keep my current v3 for now. Nothing against Shiv, but the additional costs are never-ending. I really think current v3 customers should have some sort of trade-in credit.

It's on topic; it's very nice, Shiv. Very cool...smaller, more compact, and less expensive to make. I applaud your design and your efforts ; just venting on the additional costs for current v3 customers. Since I've never complained once about the costs ever, I have the right to voice my opinion about it now. I'm sure I'll get over it.

Right, but for those that haven't gotten a tune yet, then this price isn't too bad. Especially that Lite Version.

I was referring to the size, and the simplicity....not the price.

Although you may like the Lite Version of it, but spending the extra 200 hundred on it, will be worth it to you once you get familiar with the tune....The updates and new features that Vishnu comes out with is worth the extra 200 hundred in gold....You won't be sorry...

"2) Adjustable throttle/boost response rate (Race version only)"

Wow!!!! Just like the sport button on the M3s. That is exactly what I was wishing for. When did you say 3.2 would be available for us Rev I users?

Looks great.

I assume the above will be one of the features which Rev I will not have?

Will the V3.2 release also include support for Rev I?

And for the last question, when do you feel the RPM based UT settings may make it back in?

Looks sexy..

Question on the lite vs. race.

You say there won't be laptop firmware updating, so how will the lite version update or will it never be updatable?
