Sales good. service maybe not...

Yes, I did some internet pricing and got a good deal from these guys. 2006 330i MB, terra, premium, heated seats, sat prep. Service scheduling was a pain thought. BTW, they have te latest version of the 330i software, 18.1. I am having mine upgraded there today, plu sDRL and speed-sensitive locking.

First time I went there I got a good sales rep, a little clueless, but nice. The second guy I got there was a COMPLETE A-hole- a high pressure, slang talking, ignorant middle-aged black guy.

Open road bmw is in my opinion the best bmw dealership in the tri state area. Completely free and dependable service, never any problems, very dedicated staff, and a huge inventory. Not to mention their pricing is unbeatable.

The E90 325 i got from them a couple of weeks ago came right on time, not to mention they gave me a killer price on it...one which all of the other dealers in jersey couldnt even come close to matching.

Not only that, my folks got their x5 from this same dealership a couple of years ago. Apparently this dealership has HUGE returning customer incentives.

Service Issues

I really enjoyed my experience of purchasing my e90 330i there. The internet salesman was very knowledgeable and didn't BS me after I demonstrated I did my homework.

Just be really weary of their loaner cars. First time, I got an X3 that had coffee stains all over the center console. I also found a used condom wrapper in the back footwell. I complained to the receptionist but it must not have gotten through to their service dept.

Second time I had a loaner, I got an e46 325i. The thing stank of smoke and it had a faulty temperature sensor (it thought it was -40F outside) which made the car blast heat at me the entire time.

Did much more complaining to Open Road's management and I slammed them when BMWUSA called for the satisfaction survey. Haven't had service since. Not sure if I want to go elsewhere for service now.

Probably had the same STINKING loaners I got.
Spoke to the managers and in a nut shell, he said O WELL we have too many to keep track...
Gave them all 1's on the BMWNA survey.

I am happy with them so far except for some minor issues which I think can be resolved.

My uncle is currently working at this dealership. Needless to say I got an excellent price and the service is top notch. If anyone is looking to pick up a new BMW from open road and would like to speak with a "friend of the forum" shoot me a pm.
