Hi all,

I had the car in service for squeky plastics at ambient lighting. The problem being solved by BMW in warranty but now the ambient lighting on front seats are not working as before, they are turned but not powerful, they were not before I think to don't disturb you when looking into the mirrors.

I have realised the ambient lightin in these F models are not as on G's.


Any thoughts?

First things first, not to play captain obvious but did you check the brightness settings in the iDrive menu?

I did yeah, i think the modules are not strong enough

My thought is that if the dealer did something during a warranty repair, the car should go back to the dealer and have them fix whatever they did to make it work right. Once you start playing around with it, you risk the dealer denying responsibility.
