My resonator is missing...

Hi all,
I have an f30 2017 with the MPE and i noticed that the previous owner did a resonator delete. I recently installed a VRSF catless downpipe and now the sound isnt as deep as it was before. I looked around and it says that a resonator will deepen the tone. I was wondering where i could find an aftermarket resonator that would fit my MPE. pls help thanks

It's very unlikely that a resonator will deepen tone. It's called a resonator because it is tuned to reduce sound within a specific frequency bandwidth, usually to eliminate drone at cruising speed. If the sound isn't as deep with the new downpipe the downpipe is the likely cause.

Is there anything i can do to get a deeper tone without removing the downpipe?

While a resonator is tuned to reduce drone over a limited frequency range a muffler is intended to reduce the entire exhaust level, so deleting it will make the overall sound louder, but not necessarily deeper. Specialized use mufflers can be configured to allow more deep tones to pass while still stopping the higher tones, so that would probably suit the OP better than a delete.
