BMW Individual Le Mans Blue X7 40i

Hi All,

I recently ordered a 2021 BMW X7 40i in Le Mans Blue for one of my long time clients. The colour turned out amazing and I wanted to share some photos. We decided on the colour through pictures on-line and he was super thrilled when it finally arrived.

What do you think? This could be the only one in the world? He also went with the Ivory/Blue Leather interior...safe to say he loves the colour blue hence the custom BLUE MAN license plates.

Gorgeous! I had a San Marino Blue on order, and then the parts shortage affected me, so got a Tanzanite Blue instead. This makes me wish I could have got my SMB!

There is a BMW Individual Visualizer that shows all
the 490 (BMW Individual Color Paint Code) colors.

My local dealer had an X7 in Petrol Mica, Frozen Black, and Grigio Telesto. There were X5's in Indianapolis Red, Ruby Red, Grigio Telesto, Urban Green, and Frozen Black.

I have to ask; was your client just a very specific person, did he have a history with LMB, or was the offered standard-range blue just not right for him?

I went individual on my F80, and wouldn't necessarily change that, but if they had offered a more traditional blue tone on the car I may have avoided the individual paint upcharge.

Nice spec. Also love the two tone interior merino. Only downside I see is that other than our small enthusiast community, most will think this is Phytonic. I mentioned this on another thread with an Avus Blue X5M. I love the ability to individualize our vehicles, but BMW has so many blue's that it's tough for some of the individual blue's to really stand out over the standard blue colors. Either way, this is a great looking X7. Being 1 of 1 lemans blue is truly special.

He had a Phytonic Blue X5 40i and wanted something different. I recommended this colour and after many hours go over pictures online he decided to take my advice. He also considered Tanzanite (to dark) and San Merino Blue (to purple) in his eyes.
