Interior trim refitting problem

After installing my new subs under the seats, everything went back together fine - except for the long plastic trim that covers the edge of the carpet along the doors.

It looks like it has to slide across into place but can I do it............can i fck

Anyone got any tips before I go to the dealers with my tail between my legs?

Do you mean item 14?

If so just take the clips out, Slide them into place on the back of the strip, line them up with the holes in the sill and simply push them into place.

No its part number 3 I think - its the cover between the carpet and the door sill, runs the length of the door.

I just yanked it off but it looks like it should slide on rather than press back on?

Actually, thinking about it, pulling the clips out and attaching them to the trim, then pressing all of it back on sounds like a great shout!!!

Cheers

Thats the way, 14 is the retainer and 3 is the trim in question.
