F36 power sockets under glove box?
Hi there,
I've read that on F30 and some other F series cars have a hidden power socket under the passenger glove box. I'm hoping to plug my phone charger into that one instead of the socket by the cupholders. But when I looked under the glove box, there doesn't seem to be a power socket there. There is a hole that looks similar in size, but it's slightly bigger so the charge won't stay in. Can someone please let me know if the F36 doesn't have a socket there? Thanks. |

All cars have the hole. If you don’t see the power socket then your car didn’t come with that option.

Yep, I have a socket there too. Not described in any user manual, hidden feature

I thought it was standard for certain model years and at some point it was dropped, but the hole remained. My '16 F32 has the actual power socket.
