Engine bay vents nearest the windscreen
Guys, cleaning out leaves and gunk from those ashtray size mesh filters on the left and right where wind screen is and a little pea sized stone fell down one of them is it serious ?, they are the vents/holes that sit in front of the wiper arm.

holes
Im just concerned as i hope they dont go into any air ducts or used for filtering etc. I was tempted to put some string or somthing down them to see etc or even water, but dont want to scre engine etc.
