My car thinks it's in Casablanca

The other day I got in my car and the time was fast by exactly 4 hrs. I went to the settings and it said my time zone was Casablanca. I tried to change the time zone and time and it won't let me. Any ideas, I really don't want to go to the dealer for this?

Isn't there a check box to automatically set the time?

Looks like you're not alone:

Turning off the auto setting, updating it, and turning it back on may fix it?

Uncheck it, set it manually.

Another software issue? Casablanca? Round up the usual suspects.

LOL

Agreed but one is far more painful than the other. To each their own.

I unchecked auto and reset the time, then checked auto and it's working. Based on the link that was posted earlier, BMW is aware and working on it.

Exactly and a trip to the dealer to have an SA literally do the same thing is just an absolute waste of time.
